Behind the scenes
What we usually see is the finished work. What almost no one sees is what the artist goes through in order to get there.
Creation is not a linear process, nor is it always luminous, even if it may look that way from the outside. Anyone who creates knows this: the work is alive, it has a will of its own, and there comes a point when you stop managing it and begin to lose yourself inside it. Sometimes your craft saves you. Other times, no matter how much talent you have, you become stuck. And what stops you is not always in the work itself: very often, it is something in you, from your own history, that the project has awakened and that ends up interfering right in the middle of the creative process.
Sometimes it is the opposite: you want to take a further step, to grow, to expose yourself in a different way, to dare to do something you have not done before, and you notice that something in you resists. In all of these moments, there is one thing in common: you are present in what you create, and for that reason, your work and your history do not move forward separately.
That is where I intervene. I recognize what has been activated and where it comes from; I separate what belongs to the work from what belongs to you, and I accompany you in undoing that knot so the process can return to your hands. And when that becomes ordered, you do not only recover flow: you recover your own way of creating, the one that is uniquely yours and that the block had been covering. Because what distinguishes an artist is not doing what others do, but doing what only they can do — and that is what I help you return to.
My background
I trained for nine years in dramatic arts and actor direction with Augusto Fernández, and at the schools of Juan Carlos Corazza in Madrid and Julio Chávez in Buenos Aires. I know firsthand what it means to prepare a role, sustain a scene, direct, and expose yourself before an audience. Over the years, I have accompanied actors, directors, producers, choreographers, singers, and dancers who, in the middle of a creative process, needed guidance to unblock what was preventing them from unfolding everything they carried within them.
That is why this accompaniment is neither analysis nor conventional coaching. It is a space to look deeply at what is happening, understand it, and set it in motion, with someone who knows the creative process from the inside.
Ways we can work together
The work can take place individually, within a specific production, or with a creative team in process.
With the artist, one-on-one, in their own process. Also when a specific role feels blocked and needs to be worked through. These sessions can take place online.
As an acting coach within a production, supporting the director in all matters related to performance, so that the work with the actors has a dedicated perspective fully focused on that process.
And with casts, creative teams, or companies going through a production, a shoot, or a demanding stage, and needing a perspective that can support the whole.
I design each accompaniment as a tailored process, in person or online, according to what the project requires.
